I hate hatton's style of fighting but how can anyone say he should not fight when he beat malignaggi in between losing to the two best....is he an ATG...no....can he still fight hell yeah...there are worse cases than him still fighting like bowe and holyfield....I think personally I would retire and just drink if that is what he likes but it is his choice...there is money to be made for the man

I think ole Rciky boy can still put on good fights. He got beat by the 2 best guys of his era at or around his weight class. There is no shame in that.

There are a few caveats to this though. He needs to keep the in between weight off.

I'm interested in seeing if his style changes at all. I think as time progressed, his style has been tolerated less. The punch-n-wrestle antics that were overlooked for years, don't seem to be anymore. This will force him to fight his inside fight less, which puts him in the danger zone. Can he adapt, is my question.

Of course he should return  All this bull**** about him being "past it" and "washed up" is ridiculous. He got KO'd by the 2 best fighters in the sport, 2 of the best fighters of our generation. He still beat the living hell out of Malignaggi in the fight previous.

He doesn't want to bow out in the manner that he did which is understandable but at the same time, he could get KTFO again which I can see happening if he takes on an elite fighter again.

Let him fight a tomato can in Manchester and then go back to the pub happy.

Seriously though, he could still have something to offer IF he can get back down to a reasonable weight, which in itself, I highly doubt.

  6. Yea he should return. He is entertaining, even though he is buttcheeks in the ring. I like manny and cotto and all but they have boring personalities. I like the **** talking aspect of any sport, and hatton definitely runs his mouth.

Malignaggi was coming off two poor fights against N'Dou and N'Djogogugou leading into the Hatton fight. The only reason Malignaggi is relevant is because he beat a fat blown up LW.
