Should Ring magazine give JMM his #3 slot back to him?

Thanks, the only reason why I'm hesitant is cause I do feel the Juan Diaz rematch was a waste of time being that Juan possibly lost to Malignaggi twice in a row, so I thought he should have took a more pound for pound opponent after his lost to Floyd.

I don't rate Floyd till he gets the "urge" again.

    1 Pac
    2 Martinez
    3 Marquez

2 and 3 being fully interchangeble for all i care.

Good time to be a boxing fan id say :)

No. Martinez' victory over Williams is enough to keep him at the #3 spot over JMM.

So to all the people moving Floyd down, what is your basis for this. Inactivity, how can you move Floyd behind Marquez

Floyd last fight was only 5 or 6 months ago, so he isn't that inactive and he did outclass Marquez despite the controversy regarding the weight.

I think Martinez deserves it slightly. That Mayweather loss didn't do Marquez any favors and the Williams KO definitely made a statement behind Martinez's moving up in the rankings.

They should put Marquez and Mayweather at #3. Floyd is not fighting and we just saw great fights these past few weeks. Floyd doesn't deserve to be #2 as of now.

I think Martinez keeps it based on that KO. I do think Marquez is actually the better fighter pound for pound, but as said before Williams was a much higher rated fighter than Katsidis. Pound for pound is measured by recent achievement and current ability to win in the ring. taken together, Martinez shouldn't lose his place.

And Floyd beat Marquez and the number 3 p4p fighter at the time in Shane Mosley. Don't let your love for Pac blind you
