Garcias stock went down after this fight and fighters will not be lining up for him to train them. He put his own career before Margaritos health by allowing the fight to continue on just a hope that Margarito could land a hail mary punch in a fight that he no longer had any chance. He was gambling with Margaritos heath for a less than 1% chance of a pulling out a victory.

and its not a Mexican pride thing, thats bullsh@t. Garcia throwing in the towel does not equal Margarito quitting. Would it jeopardize their friendship, maybe, but as a trainer protecting your fighter is (or in this case should have been) a priority.

True. He says he is a compassionate man but he just let Margo tool unnecessary beating. His job is to make sure his boxer is alright

That may be true, but we don't know what fighters and trainers talk about.

Margo may have told his trainer, no matter what - never, ever throw the towel in, I'll be responsible for my own health, let me worry about that - and if you trust and respect your fighter, that's that.

Most fighters do tell there trainers that. Yeah, it may have ruined their relationship, but the trainer is responsible for the fighter. Thats not Margaritos decision to make. Many fighters are too tough for their own good and those are the ones who need someone in their corner to make these tough decisions for them.

Garcia wasn't even rehydrating Margarito between rounds. Sometimes, they didn't even bother to take out his mouth piece, wtf man? Or drench him in water over the head, etc...

He kept telling him to keep jabbing when Pac already figured out his jab and was slipping it and delivering his straight left, ouch.
