Although it was a very close fight with Gonzalez getting the nod, this is the most I've ever seen Gonzalez struggle against an opponent. I think SFW may be just a little too much for Gonzalez and thing maybe he should return to FW. With the win, it gives Gonzalez his fourth title in his fourth weight division. I think that's the end of the line on how far up Gonzalez can go. He was through when round 12 came around and it was obvious that Gonzalez barely got the win. I feel that Cuadras wins the rematch.
That title should be more specific. I keep thinking Super featherweight instead of flyweight. No Roman should move back down but he can't make the weight. He better changed his style.
I do! Cuadras showed Gonzalez that the SFW division isn't for him. I predict that Gonzalez will either drop the belt or loss it back to Cuadras in the rematch.
Definitely. He knew how to neutralize Chocolatito's power and style. Battered his face Calzaghe vs Lacy style and got F'd over on the cards.
Cuadras didn't win the fight in my card. Roman = better ring general, cleaner punches...certainly higher quality too, better use of defence. All are scoring factors. He should've moved when he was well and truly done with Fly. But Cuadras and Inoue do good things for the legacy, so whatevs. He could always go back down for Nietes, who's moving to Fly.
