It's hard not to like ruslan, he has so much heart and comes to fight every time but he just doesn't have the skill to be competitive at an elite level. I don't see him winning a round vs a guy like lamont peterson or T crawford. They tried to put him in their with another "slugger" lucas but his boxing skills are criminally underrated and he boxed the **** out of ruslan all night hitting him with triple jabs and right hands.

No I think he should just stick to the undercards and beat down a lot of Peterson types and build up a decent resume of good wins over decent opponents and retire looking quasi redeemed.

Crawford was hurt bad by the 130 pound Gamboa people tend to forget.

I wish he would. I love the guy's passion and will to win. But he needs to think of his future. He has nothing more to prove. Most fight fans love the guy. I have to believe he is a hero among his people. Go home and enjoy the rest of your life with your family.

He'd definitely have a decent shot, Crawford would not be able to hurt him, and Ruslan has hurt everyone he's been in the ring with.

He needs to take a couple tune up/ confidence builder fights , regroup. And then avoid super quick boxers like Amir Khan and he'll be okay

What makes you think Ruslan would beat Peterson? I personally would see that fight as a damn near shut out for Peterson.

He needs a trainer who would be in his corner
and move to 147 where he was more effective

No, he's a gateway type fighter who would still make a few hundred thousand a year at least (where else you gonna get that type of money) and would be a great test for Crawford.
