    No, certainly not.

You don't have to be the absolute best, or even one of the top five in order to stay in the sport and make the big money these guys make. If I were Peter, I'd regroup, and continue to make the big money, while I could.

    No question.

No he shouldn't. Hard to say whether he will or not. He can still earn decent money fighting the other top 10-15 level fighters. Just stay away from the Klits.

True. What is he going to do work a 9 to 5 when he can make a million or close to it a fight. If you have die hard fans, you will always make money. Look at Oscar, he can fight Don Kings sister and fans will still buy tickets.

    1. Why, because he lost a fight?

    2. Maybe?

    Idiotic thread.

After his apparently lackluster preparation and obviously lackluster performance, Sam should pack it in and retire to someplace where his dough will keep him comfortably for the rest of his days. His heart doesn't really look to be in his work. That was just lame.

no, because he lost to one of the best out there?///////////////////////// I guess Wlad should have retired after his Sanders loss, and Lennox after his Mcall loss. peter is a very good fighter but not great, it just took a guy like vitali to show some people who didn't know any better. But he still has a career ahead of him, don't forget vitali won't be around too much longer.

I dont think so. DK will probably sell out his 50%. What Sam needs is a new team that tells Sam the way it is. He needs to work on technique, his stamina, and his weight.

He has a long road ahead of him

To get the heavyweight division back up to the status it once was we need a world class fighter like sam peters to become the gate keeper of the division, he'll get rich and help all the poor people in nigeria and at the same time no fake ass contenders will get a shot at the klitschko's without going through peters first who would definatelly seperate the boys from the men

    Retire , hell no.. !!!!

stage his career and remount an attack at the title once mo wont be easy after a showing like that... he will have to go back to basics like Ruiz did after the Tua loss, keep himself in a bubble , train his ass off get himself reborn and do what JR did , win the title once again without the clowns that were with him tonight.. Stacey and Boza had absolutely nothing to say because they were too stubborn to get along in camp... kept bumping heads , Sammy boxed like a kid who was awestruck when Vitali got his engine running.. stunned in the ****ing headlamps......
