Most definitely. Paul Williams is a top 10 p4p without a doubt. A win over him on top of Pavlik, Cintron (a win in reality) you would have to put him in there.

He clearly tripped on Williams leg. He was fighting a smart fight and starting to unload his right hand taking advantage of Williams style being he drops his hands after he throws the left. He was game that night and no way he went out of that ring on any part of his own doing.

 

Well all being said and done , Martinez is already considered P4P material by most in the world :deal , if he beats Williams , for me he'd be catapulted to #3 !!! , ahead of Montiel & Donaire (depending on which way you rank them) , thats just my opinion ..................

I suppose what im saying is , if Martinez wins he's in a Joe Calzaghe (post Jones Jr) position where he's sitting behind Floyd and Manny (probably as high as he's ever likely to be while Mayweather and Pacquiao are active) , if he loses a close fight , he still makes P4P top 10 , maybe around 7 , 8 or 9 , but he's in there regardless for me !!! :deal

This guy is the type of fighter we have been waiting for. He fights "stupid" fights. Business wise this fight makes no sense because Pirog is also in his prime younger and one hell of a fighter who not many people know about.

If we had more fighters like this there would be no UFC.
