    I think he should.

He had a great career. He is going to Canastota(Hall fo Fame) 5 World Titles, 3 Divisions. A good credible win over De La Hoya. A let career run with wins over Fernando Vargas, Luis Collazo, and Antonio Margarito. He has nothing left to prove. And he will not reach the top of the sport again. He also just probably made over 10 million for this fight when all is said and done.

What are your thoughts on this?

  2. He looked completely shot last night. Despite Floyd throwing < 40 punches/rd Shane refused to let his hands go and rarely got off first. I don't see any other option.

He could retire with Big Bank and no shame.
But I actually think he could win some decent fights still.

Maybe one more fight and then call it quits. Go out with a win, he's earned it.

He didnt let his hands go because he didnt know where to punch.

    Like most of PBF's victims.

Old age, experiencing jitters, ( he was jumping up and down un-controbaly)was tight all throughout the fight.

YES, retire.. I saw the **** against Margarito and Cotto, just check those vids for reference.

I think 1 more fight, 2 fights at most. Either Berto or Cotto rematch.

Isn't he still WBA champ? He may have over trained for MW ..Not to take away Floyd's performance but he put up very little resistance ..i doubt he's shot but he could use more time off at this stage in his life ..The fact that he switched frok training from Berto to Floyd may have taken his toll ..But either wa Floyd was also being Floyd should all of his opponents retire ?

No, he's still good enough to beat anyone not named Mayweather at this weight, he could go for the rematch against Cotto or look to take on someone like Paul Williams, get himself some money and then retire.

try giving some credit to floyd for being that good...shane might not be able to fu34 with the number 2 guy but nobody can aside from maybe pac..he makes too many mistakes though..
    Shane should keep fighting..

Excellent post. Mosley has more to offer, if he so chooses to continue boxing. That's a personal decision and I hope he just does what he feels is best.

He sould do whatever the F he wants. His life, his career, his legacy, his money-- it shouldn't matter what people typing on a message board think.

Shane should do whatever he wants. Especially after living under the Jin regime for so long.

Give him one or two more fights and let's see how he does.

In a nutshell... They generally think too much, so much that Floyd is hitting them while they ponder. Mosley did look old in this fight, but to say that wasn't due to Mayweather being Mayweather is rubbish.

He won't ever get another big Payday.

Its up to him though and I would love to see him get a shot against Pacquiao.

He didn't take a lot of damage last night so I'm guessing he's still going to fight.

I agree, Mayweather just outclassed him. Atleast fight someone else and see how he do. Cotto if he wins his next match or Berto. Heck Clottey as well.
