Should Shane Mosley vs Floyd Mayweather be for the ESB World Welterweight Title?

No, I'm making a point that it doesn't matter what bull**** titles are on the line. This fight is for the #1 welterweight ranking, more important than any titles except for the lineal one, which, Floyd has.

 

But you are making out like Pacquiao is irrelevant. It's not inconceivable to have Pacquiao at number one even after this fight in the light of his current form. Say you had Pac number one now, and Mosley wins, then imo Mayweather is unranked at 147 right now because he retired and vacated the title and then came back and fought one fight at the weight against an unranked fighter in Marquez, strictly speaking if Mosley beats Mayweather then it shouldn't enhance his position. Just like the win over Marquez should not have enhanced Mayweather's position. That leaves Pacquiao at number one.

I'm just playing devil's advocate though mate, Mayweather is the best of the bunch and will beat all of them imo, but Pacquiao has the best chance.
