Like after going 2 rounds with one opponent and doing 2 rounds with an new opponent right after while being tired and the new boxer is coming in fresh is this smart ?
I used to fight at lightweight (amateur) we used to fight every guy at every weight for one round. so you would stay in the ring and one by one the lads would come in, do a round with each. In no particular order of weight either. Obviously a super heavy wouldn’t smash you about it’s just sparring.
If your not so tired to the point of passing out and if you guys aren't killing each other with hard sparring, I don't see a huge problem with it.
