Washington must be Wilder's toughest opponent to date, should Team Wilder be given some credit for picking him, rather than the usual buffet kings or corpses they choose.

    C4edit?

    Hmmm

Fighting an al haymon's stablemate, a ex- footballer who laced his gloves just 5 years ago.

Massive credit. It's a step up from duphas, that's for sure...

Yes he gets credits because compared to Parker, Fury, Haye, AJ, Povetkin and Ortiz his choice of opponent is a household name and the opponent everyone wanted him to face (sarcastic)

He chooses these unknowns because they can be given a brown envolope with wedges of dollars to fall down and stay down at an artistic moment of their choosing.

washington has done nothing to prove he is better than szpilka, duhaupas, molina, or arreola. in fact odds are better washington would go 0-4 against those guys than 4-0.

No. He's the WBC champion. These types of opponents are the least we should expect of him.

He doesn't deserve hate for it though. Washington's a solid enough guy.

Not really. It's just a slightly more palatable dog syhte sandwich. Whilst I have some sympathy that he has a string of likely opponents who have failed tests, he also has a string of title fights which have hardly set the pulse racing. I guess most people just want to see a meaningful fight against a decent, worthy opponent.

No, because you only have to look at the original choice to understand what Wilders all about.

Give someone a full camp for once? ;)

Yes, his opponent left him in the lurch but Wazisname was another awful choice of opponent, injury or no injury. If he needed more time to heal then he should have taken more time to heal.

You're also forgetting all the times he wasn't coming back from injury and selected the worst opponent available to him, sometimes giving them short notice.

Wilder wouldn't even fight Dylian White.

AJ has a better resume at 18 fights than Wilder at 37.

    Wilder is a joke.

He should get credit for being a champion without having to get in the ring with anyone that has shown any signs of a pulse, after 37 fights at the age of 31.

    Incredible feat.

    Absolutely!

If Parker gets credit for fighting H. Fury then Wilder deserves it too.

Give them both their props because soon Wilder will KO Parker.
