Should Team Wilder be given credit for choosing Washington?

Dream on. He will only trash talk a top 20 guy after they've already scheduled a fight then say they ducked him

I really don't get this Parker doesn't have much punching power criticism. He's got bags of power IMO, though his punches are the short chopping kind that aren't always going to result in the most spectacular results. He's not as reckless as Wilder because he's been in with opponents who've made him pay for that, and he's not as much of a seek and destroyer as Joshua for the same reason.

His shots are wicked explosive however, and he can string them together very nicely. He sparked Costa Jr and Toupou clean unconscious with a single blow, and seriously shook up the iron chinned Takam.

Not quite sure I follow the logic of your Ruiz comparison.

I think Parker could very well turn out to be the dark horse in the division. He's not being mollycoddled at all and has already been in with two stiff tests and looking to fight another. That's the sort of battle testing that can really make a fighter, and Parker is still incredibly young for the division. Povetkin had a similar sort of development period and he's emerged as one of the best heavyweights in his mid/late thirties.

My only concern is that Parker gets burnt out. Too many fights like these early in a fighter's career can mentally and physically deplete you if they aren't staggered right.

No credit. A big fat 0 credit. He wanted to fight Warczick for crying out loud.
    Washington stinks too.
Molina, Duhaupas, washed up Arreola that hadn't won a legit fight in years.

It's PLAIN AS DAY Wilder is a fraud! Built up with a shiny record to sell the casuals and those starved for an American champ. He stinks.
25 years ago he would be embarrassed by a lot ofgiys not just hall of famers like Tyson and Holyfield. He would get washed up by Tucker, Douglas, Mercer, McCall and a host of others. His skills are amateurish at best. And at 31 years old with nearly 40 pro fights under his belt he has fought 1 opponent considered a legit top 10.
Take the blinders off this guy Stinks.

NO CREDIT for facing Washington. No way. I want to give him a pass cuz he is coming back off some surgery and Boxers are known to take a softer fight after an injury lay off but all Wilders opponents are soft and had he not had an injury and surgery i feel we would still be getting this fight anyway.

I do admit to knowing little about Washington but i do know there are plenty of better heavies and as a world champion Wilder should not be scared of facing any of them but his team dont want him in with any of them.

    Post of the week^^^

Don't even have to mention other scrubs from the 80s like David Bey and Berbick that would thoroughly thrash him.
He was flattened by Sconiers and Nichols. Sub journeymen

David Bey was actually a surprisingly solid fighter. He gave quite a few people problems.

And that's the last of your ******ed nonsense I'll be seeing on this site.

You offer nothing so from here on out will be getting nothing in response from me. You're now on ignore for either being too stupid or too much of a troll for me to converse with.

I'm guessing that's BlizzyBlizz you're referring to. I've had that pleasant little fellow on my ignore list for a while now. His erudition and incisive debating skills were just too much for me to handle.

The perils of possessing a genius level intellect I suppose.

I'm one of Wilder's biggest critics here on the forum but I'm quite OK with Washington as a late sub. Can't blame Wilder for Washington. He deserves blame for picking Wawarczyk in the first place though.

it is indeed. Having decided that he has more chance of splitting the atom than I do getting him to take his blinkers off and act like a rational human being.

Yes and the really shocking thing about Deonkey is that after 37 pro fights- he still moves back in straight lines with no head movement. Yes, seriously. He still trips over his own feet when swinging a wild punch. Its a poor amateurish defence, aside from the small neck and stick thin legs- just begging to be nailed. But of course, his handlers know all of this.

Its actually embarassing to watch. But still at least the American casuals enjoy it and the WBC must be making enough money from it.

    No.

Stiverne, Duahapas, Molina and Stiverne atleast all had a top 10 ranking at some point. Miller has nothing but a pretty record.
