Haney was gifted a belt, Loma never lost it in the ring.

Well, until he lost to to Lopez that is.

Only Haney fan boys think otherwise.

Loma was gifted a title fight by the WBC, Haney was WBC#2 and Campbell was WBC#1. Loma didn't beat the WBC champion for the belt in a unification. He was merely allowed to leap frog the WBC rankings to fight for it against Campbell.
So of course he should have fought Haney if he wanted to keep the title. But Arum guided him toward dropping the title, and taking up the fake title of Franchise Champion instead.

    So, in effect
Loma was a WBC paper champion
Haney was a WBC email champion
    and Teo?
Well he wasn't a WBC champion at all

Did the "Franchise Championship" become vacant upon Teo beating Lomo? How did that shake out?

And why was that belt vacant in the first place? Because Linares was stripped of it.

Teo through Arum petitioned for it to be transferrable. The WBC agreed.

Sulaiman has taken the position that both Haney is WBC world champion, Teo is WBC franchise champion. Which is a denomination according to the WBC

The belt was vacant because Mikey Garcia vacated.

No, the belt vacant because Linares had been due to make his mandatory defence and suffered an arm injury, but returned less than a year later.

Linares didn't lose his belt in the ring, he wasn't beaten until Lomachenko beat him.

You can defend stripping and paper titles all you want, but Haneys claim to being a world champion is just as laughable as Gervontas, in that everyone recognised Teo as the champion of the division.

Nothing wrong with that but Teofimo does not have to grant him a rematch as he won fair and square, took the short end money to make the fight even though he was a reigning world champion and there was no rematch clause. I am more interested in seeing him fight the likes of Josh Taylor, Tank, Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia. Lomachenko fought scared for a large portion of the fight particularly the first half.

The best way for this to be decided would be for the WBC to create another new belt...

    Yes
Champion in recess was he not?
Couldn't defend his belt because of the injury. This all happened in what? 2015?
So Linares is given some kind of diamonWBC to hold, then Linares went the WBA route.
Mikey Garcia was the WBC champion.
Unification wasn't made between him and Linares.
    Garcia vacated.
Lomachenko queue jumped past Haney and fought Campbell for a vacant belt.

Call Haney's claim flimsy if you like, it's a stronger claim to the WBC belt than Teo has.

And, clearly everyone doesn't recognize Teo as undisputed. Plenty of pros are giving him **** for it too. He is the champion of the division, the #1 lightweight, but he isn't undisputed. Which is what this thread is about.

Who did Haney beat for his email belt. Bs claimage.

    Teo is undisputed. Fact.

You seem to not understand the meaning of the word fact...

And you don't seem to understand that if a champion drops his belt, he is no longer the champion
    I.e. Loma dropped the belt
Haney made his first defence before Teo even won the IBF.
    Laughable claim to undisputed

Teo says he's Undisputed, I agree with him.

Had Loma won he'd have been undisputed also.

Technically no, because there is one titleholder left that can challenge his claim as true champion in this division. All because of that stupid 'franchise champion' antics by greedy WBC.

But, it is no doubt that currently Teo is the best and top name in the division.
