As Haye is so fond of telling everyone that he will be hanging his gloves up in October this year and no meaningful fights available in that timespan should he just go now?

I think definitely, why waste his and more importantly the fans' time with any more farcical match-ups. As cruiserweight, Haye was really exciting, taking on all comers & against the odds. Who can forget going into Mormeck's backyard and ripping the titles away from his grasp in Paris? As a heavyweight, a joke, how can you build a legacy with what, 6 fights? I'm no fan of Wlad or his brother but in this case, he's right, if he retires in October nobody will remember Haye as a heavyweight in a couple of years time but then again, does Haye really give a sh*t, he made his millions staging pantomine fights against the likes of Audley Harrison. What a waste........

No, ofcourse not. He's going to build a legacy on the King-stable, consisting of the Meehans of the world.

Then he'll retire saying he was THE supreme heavyweight on the planet.
