This question applies to all the weight classes. No matter what weight class, the belt holders should be forced to unify or forfeit their belts to the next in line. I don't have anything against the Klitschko's , I'm a big fan of both of them but we do need a recognizable heavyweight champion. The promoters, the networks, etc. thats one thing delaying a unified champion, but they have admitted publicly that there will never be 1 champ until either one of them gets beat or retires.

Yeah, but this a special circumstance.

Family is more important than boxing, and if two brothers don't feel right about fighting each other then I'm not going to argue or disagree with that position.

There should be a more determined effort in general to establish one true champ in each division though, I agree.

ok then, I agree with you. They should be forced to fight each other. We should put the two brothers in handcuffs and drop them in the ring and tell them that if they don't try to kill each other we will brutally **** their mother.

Or maybe we'll just say 'hey if you two BROTHERS don't bash each other's face in for our entertainment then neither ONE of you will ever be allowed to fight again.'

Now that I think about it, your post makes perfect sense and is an absolutely legitimate question.

    You complete ****ing ****.

if you've been reading the news, recently Wlad has been floating around the idea of him and Vitali fighting each other. I think it would be a great way for both of them to end their careers with Wlad possibly as the winner, undisputed, linear Champion with the biggest career defining fight this decade can offer.

no it's sick, it wouldn't be possible anyway, Wlad has two mandatories to deal with. Alexander Povetkin (IBF), winner of Chambers/Dimintreko (WBO).

No! Who would want to see such a fight? It is pointless.

There's still that risk of doing permanent damage to your opponent. If that happens to the brothers, it would be too devastating to the division. Besides, I don't really want to know who the better HW is among the 2 brothers.

I don't think so. Their hearts probably won't be into it and they probably wouldn't be motivated. That makes for a boring fight.

I agree, but that 7ft clown should be forced to fight one of them. Rather than picking no body's to fight against.
