Only if Manny loses, JMM still could dominate 140 for 2-3 fights

    Probably.

Marquez is already near 40 with a long career of wars and hinted multiple times at retirement. He has nothing to prove beyond the Pac quadrilogy.

Pacquiao is on the wrong side of 30 with a long career of wars and has other things in life to do with his politics. He, like Mayweather, will always have left something on the table to prove if that fight never happens.

With Pacquiao signing the extension thru 2014 though, I doubt a loss of any kind would stop him. Marquez, especially if it were a decisive defeat, would probably want one more fight to go out on top.
