Should The Margarito vs. Cotto Rematch Still Happen?

there is no way margarito would fight cotto this year.. that the only card that he has left. he would price himself out like trinidad did to hoya..

he would fight cotto when he is in the twilight of his career..

Yes. Cotto still has stuff to prove. Just because he lost to a guy that's been beaten up doesn't mean he's now better than that guy. He could fight Mosley first, I suppose, and then reinforce his dominance with a Margarito fight.

yeah i think they should, not so sure win though..i mean Shanes only getting older, and Cotto's only getting more seasoned so, if i was Shane i'd wanna fight him as soon as possible

Cotto is a very adaptable fighter who wont make the same mistakes twice. Shane tied Toni up on the inside all night and took away his main asset...bodywork

 

I went with undecided as I want to see the reults of the investigation into Margo's illegal hand wraps. If he is as guilty as he looks I think he should be banned, potentially for life.

If he is still allowd to fight though I say yes, Cotto will he dying to get revenge and if he pulls it off sets him up for a rematch with ssm

Cotto vs Margarito was my fight of the year in 2008, and the rematch will still be a great fight regardless of Margarito losing last night.

If Cotto can avenge his Defeat and beat Margarito then Mosley vs Cotto 2 would make a nice Christmas Present.
