Joe Vs Lacy was only an upset on US shores, not for those who knew Joe. It was more of an exposing of a fighter, where the other fighters who have listed who got beat by a Brit were very very good.

To answer your question I think it rates highly. Will have to take some good shots and keep his composure...2 things Khan struggles with

It would be a huge upset and a massive British win. I can't see it though.

Laing was a talented as they come. He spectacularly underachieved.

Benn had equalising power so was capable of upsetting anyone and people who knew boxing always have Joe a great shot at beating Lacy.

Lloyd dethroning Curry has to be the most shocking result of the above list and I think Khan beating Canelo would be up there with that.

Right up there, Khan would be winning the WBC middleweight title and winning it against Canelo.

You have to factor in he is abroad against a GBP fighter on a GBP card, Cinco De Mayo, I think it's almost mission impossible so if he wins nobody can deny him the credit he will get and would deserve.

Personally I think Canelo shatters him but I will be supporting Khan, UK all Day :good

    No Turpin/Robinson! ;)

It would be a very impressive feat and would indeed be comparable to a Calzaghe/Lacy type upset.

It was in the top five of biggest stinkers of all time - the pong in Dusseldorf has just about cleared 6 months later.

Completely forgot about Turpin beating IMO still the best p4p boxer in Robinson.

Khan beating Canelo is a bigger win than Calzaghe over Lacy.

Can see canelo stopping him. Khans far too fragile for him. But if khan was to do the unlikely i dont see it as a massive massive shock. Bearing in mind we know that canelo really struggles with speed. Although canelo is nearing elite. Hes still not a great elite fighter. Speeds average. Powers pretty average. He doesnt really have that one thing that puts him above everyone else. Also mayweather made him look stupid at times.

Although khans up against it. Personally seen it being a tricky but comfortable nite for canelo. At the same time dont see it as a major shock if khan was too win. Maybe sounds like i m not willing to give khan the credit if he does do it but just think canelo has his weaknesses.

Would be a great win but not on the benn v g man level or even fury v klitchko. The fury one has been a massive upset. Watching how amatuer furys looked at times plus add to the fact very very few even gave klitchko any kind of trouble for years

Although i will add i think khans a danger to himself. Not bright enough to be fighting elite fighters.

Genuinely think khans been advised badly with this fight and hes pretty deluded to the point it could end up getting him hurt. Already feel khan has been damaged. Seems even less bright than he started.

At one point i rated khan highly under roach around the time he beat judah and malinaggi. And was on his way to beating garcia if he only listened to roach who told him continually get in one or two and get out. Khan kept staying in range trying to throw fours and fives. Remember putting it on one of the forums after the first round he was gonna get caught big. It was clear to see even tho garcia was struggling with khan. The only one that didnt realise was khan. His style was always gonna fade in the end under roach or not anyway.

Tbf his careers not really went anywhere. Doesnt have the brains for the top level. Should defo get out of boxing after this one. Otherwise hes gonna end up damaged goods

It would be right up there but I do not see it happening. Canelo within 8 rounds for me!

Calzaghes win over Lacy wasn't a massive shock as such, I think at the time the bookies had Joe as the underdog, but not by much. What was surprising was how easily Calzaghes schooled Lacy for 12 rounds winning every single one.

IF Khan can beat Canelo then it would definitely be up there, can't see it happening tbh.

its a modern day Turpin Robinson.

But it wont happen. Khan gets brutally stopped.
