Yes. Its not once Povetkins been in trouble. Although he was cleared the first time, the seriousness of doping should have been realised then but it seems like its nothing to him. Theres not many that test positive twice, its a small group that dare.

Such a shame because in the ring and if you forget about all the drugs, hes a very good boxer.

Honestly would not be surprised if Povetkin is in a pine box within a year -- his failed tests have cost Russian mobster Ryabinski millions, not to mention the $$$$ that he's going to lose now that Wilder's lawsuit is basically a rubber-stamp win.

Povetkin can't make that up busting rocks while he's on the sideline suspended -- probably couldn't have done so even if active and not drug-cheating, but the so-called "promoter" was willing to throw away some spending money to get a shiny green belt in his trophy case. But this? Nah, not what he signed up for.

Whoever is in charge of masking agents and test preparation has probably already been deposited in the same ditch. Not a good time to be on the wrong side of the angry oligarch who now has Russian goose egg all over his face.

No. I think they should investigate it first before we "Drop him from the rankings" don't ya think?! What happened to innocent until proven guilty?!

Lol Wow... some Wilder fanboys are VERY threatened by Povetkin!! Lmao! It's very obvious

Yep!! I mean Wilder himself was up till 3:00am making tweets talking crap about Povetkin. Its very obvious he and his fanboys just want Povetkin out of the picture. He's a MAJOR threat to Wilders glass jaw.

i think it might be political , the guardian in the uk, a newpaper who cares little about boxing published an article on this almost straight after it happened, they are very anti russian too

the wbc are a disgrace, it took them 6 months to clear up the povetkin meldonium issue when he didn't ever break any rules, stiverne gets caught doping using a diuretic which also a masking agent and they sort it out in 2 days, fine him and allow him to carry on. that is a huge double standard

povetkin then gets caught with something, since stiverne was doping at worst this makes things even, the wbc straight away call it off and throw povetkin out. What was fishy is how late vada reported this, like on propose

something doesn't add up here at all, i want all the facts to come out

also povetkin has been subject to year round random testing by vada since the meldonium incident and hasn't tested positive for anything, then half a day before the fight ge test positive for a steriod that if he was using correctly would have cycled it off well before camp to get maximum benefit? just doesn't make sense

Exactly!!! But be careful... you're going to be labeled a "conspiracy theorist" by stating facts like that!!! :D It's also interesting how Joshua has put on size in the manner he has but nothing. Or that Hopkins actually has been said to actually use TRT among other things but he's just a good Old ALIEN! Did Hopkins do the same VADA testing for the fight tonight as his opponent?!! Nope

yup the wbc throw the book at povetkin ,the first time when he didnt break any rules

but they then give hopkins an exemption so he doesn't have to do any drug testing.

At best the wbc is a highly comprimised organisation with huge double standards and bias that need to be investigated, at worst they are completely corrupt and allowing certain fighters to dope while throwing the book at others

I really, really hope Povetkins team finds false play on VADA and WBC after this. Then sues the crap out of them. Then forces Wilder to fight him and knocks Wilder out BRUTALLY like he did the guy that Wilder struggled against tonight.

i hope that happens too, vada is definetly less corrupt than usada which is a joke

but at the same time they are a private american company, far from being beyond corruption
