Should the winner of Kovalev vs. Ward move to #1 in the pound for pound rankings?

    I'd say yes.

I'd say so but GGG fans won't be happy about that.

I'm a GGG fan and would put the (non-controversial) winner of Kovalev - Ward at p4p #1.

Roman already has a better resume. Kovalev would need to not just beat Ward but clean out 175(not possible) to even have the discussion of him over Roman

I think a win over a fellow p4p top5 tops Gonzalez' current accomplishments.

Kovalev is fringe top 10 on resume and Ward hasn't had a significant win in 5 years.

I would take a lot more for either one to get to Roman's resume

Agree to disagree. To me they are both clear top5.

should be since they are top p4p fighters. it may not be if the fight results in a boring defensive packed,non-action ud where one does not engage but try to win amateur style. if they both perform as p4p fighters then it may even make fight of the year or decade. i only see kovalev with that mentality of giving the fans their money's worth.
