I think we all can agree that Abraham, Winky and Sturm rate a shot at Pavlik right away but that the rest of the top rated middle's have not really earned a shot at the title. I think that should have a box off like there doing with the heavyweights and Wlad's title. My picks would be...

    # 1 John Duddy vs Sergio Mora
    # 2 Giovanni Lorenzo vs David Lopez
I see Duddy beating Mora and Lorenzo beating Lopez then we can have.....
    # 3 John Duddy vs Giovanni Lorenzo
This is a real pick em fight but I give slight edge to Lorenzo
When the dust clears we would have real number one contender for Pavlik that every one would respect:good But who am I trying too kid from Pavlik's and Arum point of view it does make sense to force Duddy or Mora too have earn there title shots as both bouts would do a lot for Pavlik in terms of Media attention and Kelly's bank account:rasta The one who I think will be forced into a box off will be Lorenzo who does not have following that Duddy and Mora have:hat

    I like Lorenzo-Mora, Lorenzo-Duddy, or Duddy-Mora

I would like to see him send Sturm back to Germany into hiding.

That box off is not a bad idea. We don't know whats up with Mora since he hasn't fought in year, not much is known about Duddy and would like to see what he is all about before Pavlik.

**** all these chumps Jermain Taylor was Champion for 2 years,Very closed to Kayoing Pavlik,Beat him in the ams,Was up on the scorecards and has the rematch clause. Excuse you but if Pavlik fights anyone other then giving Taylor his well deserved rematch hes a fraud and I dont think he is a fraud cause a rematch will happen of that great fight.

hey im all for the rematch, but does taylor really want it deep down? cause he was nervous in the first fight so i imagine it would a lot worse for him in the rematch.

after the rematch pavlik should fight the winner of a sturm/abraham show down in germany. no worries about a hometown decision there!

then the IBF/WBA champ should travel to america to unify with the man at 160.

so taylor early next year, and unification with winner of abraham/sturm at end of year. during the middle of the year when abraham/sturm fight, pavlik can defend his belts against duddy

Either fighter can force a rematch in the next fight, so don't blame Pavlik if he doesn't do the rematch next.

Pavlik has said he wants to fight JT. He will fight the rematch next, however this is entirely up to the JT camp. They envoke the rematch clause, they fight. If not, they schedule somebody else first. It's that simple.

Pavlik said he would fight JT again if JT wanted it. I think this thread is assuming that JT doesn't want it, which he probably won't.

    close isn't good enough
    the "ams" are irrelevant
and up on the scorecards my ass, that was just bad scoring

I hate rematches right away it freezes out the young contenders like Duddy ,Mora and Lorenzo:twisted: I like too see the new bloods get there shots before the old champ who lost by KO get his again:nono

I do not want to see Mora have to do a "box off" with anybody because he will lose against any of the legit contenders, and every bone in my body wants to see Mora lose to Pavlik by 3rd round decapitation! (The one exception to this sentiment is Bronco McKart. Put it on ESPN or Verses, and let the world watch while an over the hill 36 year old Jr middleweight hands Mora his ass on a platter!)

I stated in another thread that Kelly's last 6 opponets have a combined total of 163 fights with 116 KO's. He deserves an easy fight, then Taylor, Sturm, Abraham. Then move to 168 and dominate there as I think he is going to at 160.
