I know they are really pushing women's boxing these days. But when there are only like 13 boxers in an entire division (instead of hundreds) and only 6 or 7 even have winning records, it's difficult for me to proclaim someone the greatest ever.

The talent pool is virtually non-existent.

And then people like Marvin Johnson get left off?

Olympian. Three times the champion in a historically rich division like light heavyweight. Participant in several all-time great shootouts.

By the way, Marvin definitely should be in.

I second Marvin Johnson getting in there I'm surprised hes not already in there. Great dominant performances over Parlov, Galindez. Amazing slugfests vs Muhammad x2, Stewart 1, Emebe. And wasn't he also a 3 time Light Heavyweight champion ?

It doesn’t really matter. It’s probably verging on scam now even if it used to be legit but it’s always been a mess by my eye. In, not in, makes no odds though it’s nice to bump about who isn’t in now and again.

I just edited to add the 3 Cuban Olympians who are not in. At least one (you know WHO) should be in!

I agree about everything, BUT I recommend you get subscribed to DirecTV en Espanol and start watching Boxeo de Primera quickly! At least the Argentine and the Uruguayan women can shoot it out! Plus, the Argentines are the Mexicans of women boxing, dominating in a lot of divisions.

And yes, i would not say any one is the GOAT yet , although Hall of Famers Laila Ali , Anne Wolff and Christy Martin, along with Marcela Acuna, Katie Taylor, Clarrisa Shields, Amanda Serrano, Jackie Nava and Yessica Bopp do have a case.

Ceferino Garcia and Marvin Johnson definitely.
