You obviously don't know anyone who's been inside or just hate someone you knew who went inside. I know and know of people who have either had there lives ruined or almost ruined by going in there for relatively minor offences that were not paticularly morally bad. I do agree prisoners should be punished but above all they should be corrected which is why I think this would be a good thing although I don't think they should get payed. There is no point in ruining somebodies life and making them go crazy when they come out. Peados, rapists and cold blooded murderers deserve death, apart from that a lot of the guys in there just need dicipline in there lives.

We should do more to give opportunities to prisoners. How do we expect them to change their lives around if we offer them nothing?

    Why not?

He can pay his debt to society through taxes. He can get out of prison and have a lower probability of going back in. You're a hater.

I disagree with you entirely. How are they supposed to pay their debt to society if they can't make money? And why would you doom someone to poverty and expect them to come out better?

Let them make money so when they get out they can live like you or better than you. Why be jealous?

I think a charity tax is fine. I think an outright cap is just plain evil.
They should be allowed to make as much as anyone outside of prison can make, but they should pay the taxes so that they pay a certain amount of debt repayment.

So if they owe society $50,000-100,000, once thats paid they should be free to earn as much as anyone outside of prison.

I was saying they should make money...just not millions per fight like a Pacquiao or Mayweather.
