Billy Lyle states he doesn't cut weight because he feels stronger in the ring if he doesn't. Worked against Duddy.

boxing has 17 weight classes already!!! most within 4-7 lbs of each other. People who aren't hardcore boxing fans already think this is a joke. No need to add more, it's ****ing ridiculous as it is having a possible 68 "world champion" at any given point. If anything they should take away all the super and light divisions save cruiserweight and lightheavy not add more fights at catchweights between divsions that are so close the size diff is almost irrelevant as is......

You're forgetting the "diamond" belt the WBC manufactured just so they could get a piece of Manny's last fight. :yep

I acknowledge your logic Widdow Maker, but the fact is that if Pacquiao is defending his WBO welterweight title against Clottey then Manny has no right to impose his own weight restrictions.

Of course Clottey can refuse to accept Manny's weight restrictions, but he will not do so because he wants the big pay day.

I just hope that Manny dispenses with the "Weigh in at what I want, or you don't fight me" clause(s) asap because such conduct is not befitting the p4p best boxer on Earth.

I don't understand why they don't just make a weight class for every pound a person can weigh.
What the **** do they have weight classes for anymore? All they do is negotiate catch weights to favor certain guys.
If you can't hang in a division, go back down. Jesus.
