Should Tyson be stripped of his titles for testing positive?

If he's using his lawyers right he could tie things up for a while. And he has been using his lawyers alright which is why a couple positives from way back have still not been resolved.

 

Fury will, quite rightly, be stripped for not defending his belts within the appropriate timescale.

It's seemed obvious for a while that he has mental issues, which obviously should supercede anything to do with boxing. He has to try and get his life in order before worrying about anything else.

For what it's worth, I believe the punishment for taking recreational drugs shouldn't even be comparable to the punishment for taking PED's. Taking coke should be a 6-month ban and a fine - PED's should be a 2-year ban for the first offence and a lifetime ban for the second.

 

Nah. It could potentially highten his senses and keep him sharper but, for that to work, he'd need to take a couple of lines on the way to the ring. It's going to wear off within 30 minutes, so there's no way he'd feel any positive advantages in a fight.
