Yes, if they want him out of the UFC.

Dan Hardy is neither an elite striker or grappler, he is a mediocre striker and average grappler. He has some power and he is not a title contender so there is no need to for him to have any make or break fights. 50-50 stand up fights make sense. Get some wins, entertain people on the prelims and then if he loses to another grappler they won't have to cut him if they don't want.

    Good shout.

If Kos doesn't land I don't think he'll win because he has become such a one trick pony whereas Rory is only becoming more well rounded.

Also far more well-versed on the ground and a better striker in every way!

I want to watch fights not arguments, who seriously cares about trash talk other than pre teens straight out of WWE.

well he has his 4 loses but I'm not sure he's been cut. In fact He recently mentioned he was offered fights but turned them down. It wouldn't be a bad idea for him to get cut go elsewhere and have some more winable fights and keep busy.

Wow, that's a stupid ****ing argument. "Wow, they'll talk trash! I can't WAIT to see that!" Maybe you haven't noticed, but how much trash guys talk or how much they "hate" each other doesn't mean **** about whether it'll be a good fight or not. If you want trash talk go watch ******ed pro wrestling. This fight would go down just like Kos vs Daly. Kos takes him down and holds him there the whole fight and wins a wide UD. That's how he should fight because he's much better there and people would ***** up a storm. Horrible fight, they'll never make it, they never should make it, neither of them would want it, the end.

This thread is years old yet people are still arguing about it. Maybe they should fight. Honestly Hardy is on a skid while Koscheck has been winning so they aren't even in the same levels of the division any more. They should have fought before either one fought GSP but the UFC was desperate for welterweight challengers and wanted to milk them both first.

Not saying Hardy's been cut yet. But a Koscheck thrashing might be the final nail in the coffin.

Tough to do but I rate Rory and have done since I saw him lose to Condit. I think Rory will come back from that fight better and learn how to pace himself and defend himself better plus I think he'll train even harder. Rory has some seriously good boxing. Minus the power, Koscheck has nothing on Rorys boxing skills. Not the jab, or the timing or the hand placement or the distance.
