... since he's already at the right weight? No doubt a couple easy pickups for him, depending on how he does in the (presumed) Oct. Fury rematch.

The idea was floated in an interview yesterday by Dan Rafael in response to a question about earning multiple-belt P4P status.

**** the WBC. No need to pay them any sanctioning fee for a belt and weight class no one else recognize.

I mean it’s not a bad idea to enhance his legacy. Three time undisputed? Idk what else he can do at HW he beat the only talented guys that matter there, the rest are low level.

There is no legacy in bridgerweight and probably never will be.

I can see that too. I think boxers know the money is at HW. Bridger is just going to be cruised 2.0 where no one is going to tune in. That being said, I think being undisputed in 3 weight classes is still a crazy feat. Unless Usyk goes for a record title defense which I don’t think is possible at his age, I think becoming undisputed at Bridger enhanced his legacy more.

If Wilder wins a couple I wouldn't mind that fight early to mid next year.

Ehhh, i don't think that does much for Usyk's resume at this point. He lost to a really poor opponent in Parker, that to me tells me he's shot. A prime Wilder would ice Parker in 6.

No. If he wants to enhance his legacy he should fight a few more top 5 HWs (sure, he's already beaten the best there are, but a few more decent names wouldn't hurt) or bring Opetaia up from cruiser.

We need this, Opetaia should hurry and wash Cruiser before goint after Usyk. I'd like to see how Usyk approaches him

I mean why not? Easy belt and he could win it even at the age of 43, and if Bridgerweight gains momentum it'll be a nice addition to his legacy

No, that would be lame and a step backwards. Fight a few top heavys for the title defenses and call it a day. If he defended his undisputed title wouldn’t he be the only heavy to do it in a long time? I believe Lennox Lewis never got to defend the WBA title and had a run of 3 title defenses before loses to Rahman. I think Usyk can make a better run than that. Defenses against Fury, Parker, Kabayel, Hrgovic would be an impressive run and cement his place above other ATG heavy’s before retirement.

    Waste of his time.

    Bridgerweight is a nothing division.

The IBF stripping Usyk is only an imminent announcement away.

Hrgovic-Dubois on June 1st will determine who the new IBF belt holder is.
