Should Usyk help himself to the Bridgerweight belts?

Usyk doesn't need more belts

He is undefeated and has the undisputed belt

He can bin every single belt and just defend that alone and retire

 

This is a really interesting idea, and that comment about possibly going back to Cruiser gives it some potential to actually happen.

It sounds like an amazing way to future-proof his massive legacy if Bridgerweight actually kicks off, but it likely won't. It's standing on the toes of too much heavyweight history to be introduced properly imo.

 

I agree. There are many on here who I think are semi-casuals who are still married to Wilder even though he got beaten easily by Parker, who absolutely deserves a shot before anyone else.

 

Wilder might be the greatest can crusher in the history of prizefighting.

But that is all he is. Anybody with a semi-good chin and can throw back gets him out of there.

 

I think that would detract from his legacy. Awful name for a division.
