Should Usyk just vacate his WBA belt and call out Wilder or Joyce? - What can Usyk actually do now?

AJ is a manufactured champion for you, Fury is so, but if Usyk takes the belts of two manufactured champions, he conquers the division - I told you you're incompetent and you contradict yourself in many of your claims, you low IQ.

Sure, if he wants more money then thats fine. But for legacy it doesnt make much difference at this point.

How not, as long as he defends those belts it pushes that legacy, the longer he is in that position - the others wont be. And only top ranked fighters can attack the belt - if he gets mandatories Dubois, Hrgovic, Joyce (who he already has), then he will be the best fighter. Who is next - Sanchez, Ruiz, Wilder. If he makes 6 defense title, his legacy will grow. But technically, he only needs one fight, against coward Fury and he cant dodge good fighters forever.

EDIT: actually he doesnt need Fury, he needs WBC belt, no mater who is holding it.

Because he says he wants to be the glorified champion. He says he doesn't fight for money.

Usyk should just put a beating on Dubois. If he starts vacating titles and looking for big fights, he might be inactive for a long time.

Have we got two AI forum BOTS having an argument here? This raises some interesting questions if so:

1 do either realise the other is a bot
2 do either realise they themselves are a bot
3 since their bot opinions are gleaned directly from an emalgamation of every single forum post ever made… where do they rank Deontay Wilders power historically

Usyk should figt Dubois and wait. Maybe Fury retires this year and Usyk can fight against someone else for the WBC belt

Fury and Warren have got him in a bad position, really.
If he drops the belts, Fury (and Wilder) likely won't fight him, or at least squeeze him for an even more unfair percentage.

If I was him, assuming they're not actually repairing the fight as we speak (which could be the case after the fallout), I'd release a statement declaring the split they will accept with Fury, contract conditions, then retire and stay fit until Fury takes that fight, if he ever does.

They've built up quite a lot of pressure on Fury and the ball would be in his court then to bring Usyk out of retirement or let the fight go.

The thing is, taking more mandos and so on will not give him a better chance of fighting Fury if Fury doesn't want it.

The other thing is that Usyk might have to keep fighting regardless to avoid getting killed in the Ukraine meatgrinder. So that might be a reason he takes these pointless fights.

    Ah okay, fair enough!

I thought you were making a play on words. "a glorified something" having a double meaning where I'm from, my first thought reading that was "a not-really-great/pretend champion".

It's not low reward if he enjoys fighting the best and that's what he cares about, rather than just fighting nobodies to maintain his belt for a longer period of time.

So it's better to fighting worse opponents to maintain your belts, then to perhaps vacate so you can fight better fighters?

Seems to be so for some people. They'll stick those belts in your face to prove you something, but at the same time if you tell them that in such case, Wilder defended his tilte good number of times, they'll come up with "he defended against bums", which is mostly true, but then why not being similar if Usyk defends his titles against not the best in the division - what's the value of those belts? Whether it's Usyk or someone else, it's a matter of criteria and standards.

At least his mandatories aren't bad, but decent fighters who probably still lack experience and didn't reveal their full potential.

Understood. Usyk is a man of integrity and honour, I'd assume he'd realise real boxing fans will respect his legacy if he has better names on his resume not more belts.
