I say let him fight Fury & if he is victorious,
Let him box Wilders ears off too.

Then he can retire a Legendary Goat type.

Lewis retired because his Mom didn't want him.to carry on.

Usyk has just been on the front line in a war.

They are two totally different types of people.

Since its obvious the narrative you're trying to push about Lewis, let me ask you.

What IS a good age for "big men" to retire?

Should he have fought to 50? Because big man attributes dont go away with age?

Depending on outcome there could well be 2 fights with Fury - retirement would be wise after that win or lose.

But there is another factor at play.

The War in Ukraine could potentially be going for years; he better serves his country as a talisman fighting in the ring with gloves than on the streets with a rifle.

He should fight Fury for undisputed, then retire.

After Fury there is no one else worth fighting, it would just be him slapping around Joyce, Parker and Ruiz.

Lewis' Mummy was scared that VitKlit, the better of the two brothers, was going to push her son's **** in if they had a rematch.

Usyk on the other hand, only wants the undisputed HW title. I suspect he will retire after Fury, regardless of the result.

I think he knows he's on the edge physically.
He was talking about retirement a few fights ago.
If ''Team Fury'' screw him around, maybe he'll just walk.
The rematch situation could prove a problem.
The money could be a problem too, since Fury is right in the fact that Usyk isn't a 'big brand'. Even though this is the most prestigious HW fight, it likely won't spin the same money as AJ or Wilder fights.

I think the big thing with Lennox was that the fire had gone. He would have had a few more years in him had he desired it, but he didn't

Would be one Hell of a career.

And overall yes, the opening post was good, I think he should retire quite soon.

There will always be another young great fighter. You cannot face them all. 5 years from now there will another young and hungry champion that Fury "should" fight. But all fighters must eventually retire. The problem with Fury is he has not yet secured his legacy. He has to fight the best fighter of his era. Otherwise, his career isn't complete. If he fights Usyk then win or lose he has secured his legacy.

 waste of time typing you did. Just being a a 'so-called devil's advocate' gets people nowhere.

Lewis retired when it was right FOR HIM. You think LL's age is now the barometer for others??

    Thats exactly what he thinks.

Usyk wasn't sent into the shadow realm twice like Lewis was and he certainly wasn't losing his last fight like Lewis was. Poster is cherry picking one or two things to prop up an illogical thread.
