Oscar,Mayweather and Mayorga seem to want no part of The Viper at 154 so are no big fights there and Forrest says he wants to fight the winner of Pavlik vs Taylor. Do you guys think it's time Forrest to move up in weight or do think he would in over his head with the bigger men:huh

No - he should fight Spinks.

If he's not going to do that - then maybe he should move up.

I dont think he should, i dont think he will have the physical strength to cope with the guys up there, the physical tools yes but not the physical strength!

Is it me or does every boxer seem to fight primarily for $$$?

It really pisses me off that people would choose money over a boxing legacy!

I never thought i would hear myself say this but i think the last person to primarily fight for his legacy was Lennox Lewis

i think he wouldn't fare that poorly with jermain
having said that, i think he should stick at 154... although i don't want to see him fight spinks (i don't want to see ANYBODY fight spinks... i wish cory would retire so i wouldn't ever have to watch him box/run again)

154 is wide open no point going to middlewieght when he is barely even light middle.

i think 154 suits him perfectly

not sure about strong but just too big.
lee, taylor, pavlik are huge at around 6'2

forrest is a decent enough 154 might as well leave it at that.

A fight with Karmazin would be a beautiful boxing match. If there's not\ money in Spinks, go for Karmazin or Dzindziruk (sp?) and make everyone else fight you. He still has enough in the tank to make some good fights.

Vernon is not young anymore. He should unify the 154 belts first before planning on anything else.

He was lucky he was able to comeback from the Mayorga losses and from the injuries.

Vernon Forest is not that young anymore.
And he never was physically strong.
Mayorge bullied him all over the ring.
If he really thinks he is that bad --- then fight Mayorga.
I really dont think he will.
Ricardo brought the dog out in him and that stuff does go away.

No, he's not strong enough to beat the elite middleweights (Pavlik and Abraham). I'd like to see him against Sturm though.

No way because he will get stomped. He needs to try and clean up his division with guys like Alcine, Dzinkiruk, Spinks, Kirkland, Julio, Mayorga, Powell, or Santos.

Or move back down if money is all he cares about.
