reply to kirk .Vargas is maybe borderline and he was better than pazienza. Also reply to hard truth ,which lesser fighters are in the hall? i dont want to bash pazienza cause i respect him lot of heart but i think he would be at the bottom if he were to get in .as far as gatti i think hes borderline ,maybe not as a talent or who he beat but this guy was maybe the most excitng fighter ever and as much heart as anyone who has ever fought
mag 165 id say czyz would have beaten paz at 168 but as for pound for pound id say its pretty close or maybe paz since he started out at lightweight and jumped up to middle but then again czyz started out at middle and won a
It is debatable. They are pretty even in someways. Both guys were durable and won titles at different weights, but Czyz maybe had more power and Paz more speed, but both guys were very beatable.
Look you put up a great argument, I didn't know he was that good but if you let him in you're letting in a lot of other people who don't deserve it so NO. But ff there was an honorable mention list... haha
Honeyghan was washed up when they fought and camacho beat him and yey can someone answer my question who is in the hall of fame that paz is better than? I looked at the list and couldnt find one guy who paz was better than like i said earlier mcguigan is at the bottom of the hall of fame list but pound for pound he would have beat paz
Problem with guys like Gatti and Paz is that you want them to be in the Hall because they brought Fame and Excitement to the sport... but in reality they are not worthy fighters.
First instinct is no, but the fact that he came back after that auto wreck the way he did puts him on the fence. I guess it depends on if you think HOF entries should be based solely on skill and accomplishments and how much the intangibles matter.
I saw him once at the Mohegan Sun in CT for a fight a couple years back and he was with 2 Playboy bunnies.. So yeah, he should be in the HOF.
