Strip him. Vitali should just retire.

Of course, Vitali isn't to blame...it's the WBC and their corruption.

Vitali never took steroids period. Neither Vitali or Vlad would come near them, they are dangerous for your health and they do not need them. Vitali had an injury while kickboxing, a doctor gave him a shot in his foot. Vitali said later that he should have gone to a specialist in sports medicine, not just an MD. I did some work for them years ago, and I know they watch their diet, stay in shape year round, do not drink alcohol, etc. No way would the harm their health by taking steroids.

Where was the outrage when Lennox Lewis did not defend the WBC title for over 2 years?

Yes, he should be stripped of the title. A " champ" that doesn´t defend his belt is no Champ. Hpopefully we get a champion that fight a little bit more and against oponents that can throw more than one punch combinations. Perhaps something spectacular like two punches.

I understand that Vitali is doing this to **** the **** out of Don King (and succeeding), but truth be told, it's just unfair to the boxers that are wasting their prime years waiting for the title fight. I feel bad for my fellow canadian, first he had to wait for Areolla, now for Klitschko. He should fight Boytsov for the full title while Vitali gets his champ in recess title. Who knows, maybe Vitali will come back in 3 years and win it back.

They should have Stiverne fight for the title (using whatever language the WBC uses for an interim champ/champ in recess/etc) and allow Vitali the right to fight him (or whoever holds the WBC belt) when/if he comes back healthy.

I'm a big fan of the Klitschkos, but that scenario would've been the most fair to all parties involved.

Yes. The deluded lying ped cheat should be stripped as he is about 4th best these days and can no longer call himself a champion

what the **** is the WBC so busy doing that they cant make a ruling on whether to make stiverne an interim champion or at least be able to fight and win it vs winner of seth and chris.
    quote by the WBC
"WBC will not make a decision regarding his title situation until the first-quarter of 2014"

wow what a joke these bodies are...they used to hide their slack and corruption, now they dont give a ****

The WBC should , at the very least, make it appear that they tried everything by giving him until the end of the year to make a mandatory defense. This obviously isn't going to happen but the WBC can save face this way.

He would then be given the opportunity to fight the winner of his vacant belt( Stiverne, Mitchell or Arreola). This is the only way to go IMO.

Definitely not. I'd rather see someone beat him to get that belt rather than see no skill overweight clowns fighting for it.

No. As someone mentioned have a fight for an interim belt with winner to face Vitali when he returns.

What about Stiverne. His career just gets flushed down the drain for no good reason? Thats a mans livelyhood Vitali is toying with..I think you should quit posting.
