Should Vitali fight Haye next?

Vitali has shown an amazing jaw in his pro career.

But didn't he get sparked by Pele Reid in the ams?

 

I would like to see Vitali fight Valuev, just to tidy up loose ends.

Given that King is unlikely to let that happen, then I would like to see him fight Haye instead.

The second of those choices would be a lot shorter fight.

 

Fighting Valuev would rid us of the last remaining wanna-be titleholder/champion, but Haye would be a much better selling and exciting fight for Vitali.

Either one would be good to see.


But a Vitali Haye fight, that's what I think we'll see next.

And that will be one fantastic fight. MEGA.

I'd agree with this. I'd like to see both Haye and Arreola pick up another solid win or two before facing either Klitschko. If either Klitschko beat one of those guys it would be written off as beating an unready and unproven fighter. Give Haye and Arreola another quality win and then the fight gets that much bigger and they become that much more credible. In the meantime seeing Vitali beat and rid us of Valuev doesn't seem like a bad idea either.

Vitali and Vlad will want to stay busy, so they will fight the most marketable ($) fighters as soon as possible. Two of the most marketable are Arreola and Haye, HBO would buy either fight. While I would rather see these two fight each other first with the winner getting a Klit, Vitali will probably spark out Haye first. Arreola will be getting a shot soon though, and he's a hell of a lot tougher than some of these Haye sacksuckers seem to think.
