should Ward go to UK or Denmark to fight with the winner of Froch-Kessler rematch ?

Well according to you Calzaghe was unheard of but still sold 130k in PPV's in America, now comparing that with Ward who plenty on here think is better than Calzaghe in both resume and H2H and has supposedly cleaned out his division.

So why has Joe managed to sell a PPV in America but the better, home grown talent hasn't managed one yet? can't the American crack America?

No surprise you're shameless enough to make that comparison despite the difference in fights, then again if you don't make that comparison you have nothing else to make. Joe managed to sell a PPV in his retirement fight because his opponent was Roy Jones, despite being beyond past it. I hope you do realize that Jones sold more than double as much fighting an inactive Trinidad on PPV. Calzaghe's first PPV came in as his very last fight for an obvious reason, he was unheard of and unrecognized because he never fought enough in America. Ward has 26 professional fights only, I hope you remember that Mayweather's(who is a very good example of an American making it far fighting his entire career where big fights are clearly made) very first PPV came after 33 professional fights. Why do you think Ricky Hatton made the move as soon as he was recognized?, Amir Khan?, Naseem Hamed?, Lennox Lewis?, Carl Froch? and many more.

This explains why the big money makers in the sport today like Pacquiao, Mayweather and Marquez are fighting in America and not Wales. The heavyweight division doesn't represent boxing as a whole.

Many Americans are actually moving to Denmark these days...

I dont expect Ward will come to Europe any time soon, but I hope he will consider it since it would be wise move both financial and for his legacy.

It says something when you're a black/Irish American former Olympic gold medallist and undisputed (in name if not belts) champion of the world, and you can barely fill a telephone box for your fights. Dude needs to get out more.

Hatton and Lewis had completely different agendas as they had opposition in America they could make big money with, same goes for Khan if he can get there. As things stand Ward has nobody and there is nobody on the horizon for him to fight tha will make him a ppv star either.

Remember for every Mayweather there is a Hopkins that can't sell **** as a stand alone fighter over there where as the likes of Calzaghe and the Klitschkos can make much more here.

He could, if he wants to. But he certainly doesn't have to. He's the boss in the division, he calls the shots.

What is Marquez' biggest pay day without being the B side to a Mayweather or Pacquiao?

Still $1.3 is a great number for someone that can't fill phone booths, right? You're doing a great job helping yourself.

Using a phone booth as an example is obviously an exaggeration, but Ward couldn't draw flies compared to other guys in the division. As with anything in life, if Ward wants the adulation and pay that other fighters get, he will have to go after it instead of waiting for it to come to him. 1.3m is an awful number for an essentially free fight in the so callled mecca of boxing.

To be fair, Floyd travelled to the UK to promote the fight with Hatton. He understands how it works, you can't just sit at home and expect the world to come to you.
