should Ward go to UK or Denmark to fight with the winner of Froch-Kessler rematch ?

There are no big fights for Ward in the US so of course he should travel.

He can make probably 3 times as much fighting the winner of Froch Kessler in Europe so why will he not make the fight??

You can dress it up how ever you like but Ward is **** scared of fighting outside of the USA.:deal

He's already proved this in the super 6.

He'd rather fight in Joakland in front of his mum,dad and a few cats and dogs making peanuts than take a risk and earn some real money! :nut:lol::lol::patsch

first Ward fight in the s6 was against Kessler ( for Kessler's WBA belt ) in Oakland, Cali ; second was against Green in Oakland ; third was against Abe in Carson / Cali ; then the final was against Froch in A.C ( east coast but still in USA ) !

Kessler,Abe and Froch, all were far more proven and known fighters than Ward ( who was unknown as a fighter at that time ), yet all of them went in USA and fought Ward , but Ward didn't go in Europe and fight one of them ! Why this discrimination ?

Ward should return the favor to Kessler or Froch and travel in Europe and fight with one of them , period ! This will be fair !
    :yep

p.s Dawson vs Ward fight was also in Oakland :patsch , not even on a neutral ground !

I dont know about Kessler but Froch and his camp have been open and candid in admitting that his plans have always been Kessler rematch first then Ward. Since his plan is Kessler first then Ward why the hell would he send Ward any offer for a fight before he's fought Kessler?

And, additionally, Ward is out recovering from surgery on his shoulder. What would be the point in offering him a contract now when he would be unable to fulfill the fixture in the forseeable future? As I've said before on this website, the world doesn't wait for Ward and if he's not available for fights then other fighters in the division cant be criticized for fighting other people.

If boxing culture is as big as it is in norway, then he shouldn't have it it in Denmark.

Hopefully someone here understands what I mean

He beat them in the US and he can earn the biggest paydays of his career by going overseas and giving them the rematch in their homelands.
Froch and Kessler are #2 and #3 in the SMW division and many feel Ward got away with a lot of fouls and holding against them, especially the headbutts against Kessler.
Ward has a chance to cement his legacy by beating the best in his division both at home and overseas, and earn his biggest payday doing it.
What is the reason for him to not make these fights?

Because he is petrified of leaving The US. :deal

It's a risk/reward thing... $2m obviously isn't enough for him to risk it.

He'd rather fight in Joakland for $750k :dead

kessler went in Ward's backyard and fought with him , when Ward was unknown ! Don't forget that Kessler was the champ and the big star at smw at that time !

why Ward wouldn't travel in Europe and fight with the winner of kessler-froch rematch ? It would be a fair thing IMO ! :yep

As I said, when S6 started Ward was an unknown fighter unlike Kessler,Froch and Abe who were proven and known fighters, yet they travelled in Ward's backyard but Ward didn't travel in Europe and fight with one of them ! It's a matter of fair-play and gratitude !
