    Strip him.

2 fake injuries and 12 months of nothingness...

    No emeritus status either.

If he just wanted to become the HW champion and retire, he should have just retired

They could do the "champion in recess" option then mandate Wlad vs someone. Don't wait for any mini tournament to decide who...just open up purse bids for those available in the top 15.

That goes for the WBO also. First sanctioning body to get their 5hit together may get a fight this year....

I'd say yes. The guy doesn't care. The annoying thing is that his 'reign' will continue to undermine the whole division until someone can beat Wlad more convincingly.

I was pleased he won that night in Germany but have to admit that him beating Wlad has been one of the worst things to happen to the heavyweight in recent times.

He needs to be stripped asap. The WBO and WBA need to setup Wlad vs. the next available contender.

Wait to find out what's wrong.

I'm upset about this, but if they can actually verify what happened, and it's clearly not his fault, then I don't think he should be stripped.

I agree it's all suspicious and suspect, but this has the potential to be verified.

I think the bodies may wait until the drug hearing until they decide what to do. The result of that hearing may make their decisions an awful lot easier.

Doing this would save them from any potential backlash too.

This is what I expect to happen. It's not been a year since he beat Wlad, so they probably won't strip him just yet for inactivity and with the hearing coming before then it's likely they will strip him for being banned for doping first rather than inactivity.

Floyd and Broner already have stacks of $1 bills ready to watch the WBA/WBO/IBO stripshow.

    Why should he be stripped?
At the moment we dont know how long Fury will be out and hopefully he will be back in the mix soon.
Was Ward stripped as WBA champ when he didnt box for 17 months and when he did wasnt at the weight?
