    Yep, too dangerous.

If fighters fight at their natural weight, then theres no danger involved. Fight at your natural weight and all problems are solved. Lose the excess weight in training, not by dehydrating

And how do you force fighters to fight at their natural weight? You think fighters lose excess only in dehydrating? Are you that naive? Moving the weigh in back to fight night only means those who drain go another day. It doesn't change anything but adds more brain injury to the mix. You're not smart enough to see that. Just simple answers from you.

If a fight is at 160 fighters should weigh at max. 160 when they are in the ring. Everything else is bs imo.
If the fighters are stupid enough to still cut weight and because of that suffer brain damage it´s their own fault and i don´t have much compassion for them.

Morning of weigh ins would be sufficient. Too many fighters are entering the ring a weight class above the fight under the current system.

    :good

I know that one argument will be that it will force guys like Margo, Clottey and Williams to fight at higher weights, but that isnt the case, they would still fight at the same weights .

I think that the weight in should be two days before the fight and only allow fighters to put on 5%. Meaning if you fight 140 then you could only go up to 147. If you fight at 126 then you could go up to 132.3. What that would do is force fighters to actaully cut weight and not dehydrate as much:good

Yes there was evidence. The brain is the last thing to rehydrate. The effects of a punch on a dehydrated fighter is equal to putting your foot in shoes that are two sizes too big with some nail in your shoe and kicking a brick wall:dead

If something happens than it´s their own fault, they decided to compete at a weight class they don´t belong so they have to bear the consequences.

I like them to have same day weigh ins.

All the world championship belts should be vacated though. (Impossible, yes.)

And the fighters will have to go up to their natural weights and then fight there.

Im a fan of Pacquiao, and if his natural fighting weight is at around 147, Im OK with that.

He'll probably fight some big framed small fighters like Humberto Soto, Valero or maybe Campbell.

The 105 and 108 divisions would be probably wiped out, I think.

Fighters should fight at their natural weights and no injuries would occur.

No, but I think the point being made here is that surely they have a stable, natural weight which they can be comfortable fighting at without having to drain (or drain too much). If you're seriously dehydrated before weigh-in to make weight you probably shouldn't be fighting at that weight. Sounds reasonable to me.

Especially given the body's natural time period to re-hydrate. I recognize it differs for most people though, but that's all the more reason to stick to fighting at a more "natural" weight.
