Haye doesn't need the WBA trinket. He brings the $$$...

What a sham. An interim title between a C+ fighter and a guy who got his ass kicked in his very last fight? I'm almost convinced that they're terrified of total unification.

It was a meaningless devalued belt long before Haye won it.

Funny how knowledgeable boxing fans who are also Haye fans temporarily acted like the WBA heavyweight title was a worthy achievement.
Now, after two weeks of back-patting, back to reality because the bull**** WBA no longer suits the Haye agenda.

Beating Valuev was the same thing a 46 year old Holyfield did a year earlier. But Holyfield was robbed, as have other Valuev opponents been robbed. Haye's real accomplishment was getting a fair decision.

It'd be pointless. There's already 2 WBA Interim Headquarters to take its place and if we did succeed in bombing those, we'd still have to bomb the WBA Super Headquarters.

If Danny Williams can KO Kali Meehan in a round, what would Haye do to him?

He deserves a shot, because he might provide an exciting fight. I'd even give him a chance of winning, and scoring a KO. I think Haye has a lot going for him, speed and power and he's truly fearless, I believe.

But he chose the WBA route himself, and he hasn't actually done anything special to force a Klitschko fight, and I dont blame the Klitschkos for being wary of doing business with him.
I mean, it could end up being a bad move he took going down the Valuev road instead of Vitali.

But I admit I have been disappointed with Haye for some time now. He said after the Macchirenelli fight he was now on a heavyweight campaign to beat all the boring bums and clear up the division, and he's done hardly anything !
Vitali's about to have his 4th fight in the 14 months since he came back. Not great opposition, but i'd like to see that level of activity out of Haye. Hopefully he'll produce something good in his next fight.
If he's stuck with the WBA that's because he chose it.

and he called the Klitschko contracts "slave contracts":patsch:patsch

He is the WBA slave now and he has no one to blame but himself
