Should we boycott the alphabet titles?

    Right now im in favour of this, with all the stupid titles about nowadays and the new WBC Diamond Championship I think the true boxing fans should either try to get some sort of petition going to make the Ring title the only real legit title or try to get some people from the WBC,WBA,IBF and the WBO to break away and join together to form their own organisation as the true world championship. Thoughts please.

    What I mean is create a TRUE world championship and **** the others or make the Ring title the only offical recognised world championship.

    How many titles will end up under the control of Golden Boy? You know, they guy that OWNS the damned thing?

    Getting a load of people on the Internet to agree with your idea isn't the way to solve this problem. It requires cooperation from promoters and TV networks. HBO tried to get rid of the alphabets, and still don't mention them by name, but it didn't work because promoters, fighters and fans still like belts.

    i dont listen to the abc belts. but it does show a bit of class if you do hold a belt. and makes you stand out from the other 200 people in your division.

    it's an award. thats all it is. manny pac holding the wbc interconinental belt for years was almost comedic. but at least it makes it a 12 rounder and you win somthing at the end of it.
