Should we revive London Prize Ring Rules?

    I dont think it would work as a sport, but in the right circumstances, i think it could be absolutely massive for a one off pay per view event. If for example David Haye beats valuev and follows up by beating Vlad or Vitali, imagine the publicity and pay per view buys if he challenged the other brother to an LPR fight. Even more so perhaps, if it followed a close and controversial split decision or draw.

    it couldn't work unless the fights were held in the middle of nowhere with guys holding baseball bats surrounding the ring to protect it from the spectators.

    the riots would be worth the ppv cost alone.

    They did a test, apparently MMA gloves did have that much more impact than standard boxing gloves now. I see/heard something of this on some program on Spiketv. for whatever it's worth.
