In boxing every time a boxer picks up a strap he’s immediately expected to fight and unify against the other “champs” but it’s clear as day that these organizations don’t like working with each other (unless you bring in the typhoon of money certain guys are privileged to have behind them.) Over the years we’ve had Pride, Strikeforce, One, yadda yadda. Nobody says “well Khabib is good and all but until he beats Bellator champ I’m not impressed. He’s ducking _______.”
