Think about it. IMO it was a poor stoppage on his part, I think most would agree. But let's look what's come from that stoppage. We have one of the biggest UK fights in history with an 80,000 sell out Wembley crowd. The casual fans are drawn to it, talking about it and many people I know are ordering the fight who never saw the first one live. It's amazing what the outcome of a premature stoppage has created and does any one think it's possible it was deliberate?
Howard Foster has an established record of British stoppages. What he was doing reffing such a high profile fight in the first place is anyone's guess. He was reffing the fight like he would a 4 rounder on a small hall show. pathetic.
