I can't tell if someone is unbiased with their voting as I don't know who votes.

However, I see plenty of biased views around here. Thats for sure.

Yes, I would love to see it. For Championship fights, they should go back to 15 rounds.

I don't see why it's wrong for someone to vote for 12 round fights, though, if he thinks his favourite fighter would do better. Why is that wrong and "biased"?

Disagree with this argument. Some of the greatest fights in history have either been scheduled for 15, or have been fought at 15 rounds, and the pace was breakneck throughout.

it should be an option at negotiations just like ring size, venue, catch weight, etc...

Why is it not biased?. One should look at the broader picture and what he generally thinks about 15 rounds compared to 12 rounds. His favourite fighter doing well or not shouldn't be taken into consideration.

Forget 15! Let's kick it old school and make it unlimited rounds like they used to do when boxers wore sashes.

    I can't understand why it's "wrong" to prefer 12 rounds than 15.
    For whatever reason.

So just prefer 12 over 15 regardless of the reason? Just having nothing behind your reason at all, huh.

    Get outta here :good

No. I can think of a few fights where 15 rounds would have been ideal but for most fights, 12 rounds is plenty and safer for the fighters.

No man seriously, I meant why should you have a problem with someone who votes for 12 rounds and call it "biased" voting???

It's not like the question was "is Pacquiao a good fighter" and someone voted "no"! THAT would be biased!

    Thats when it's biased.

If someone prefers 12 rounders for a more sensible reason, then it probably won't be biased.

As there would be anyway, regardless of whether the fifteen round rule for title fights was in effect or not. There will be good and boring fights, and fighters, regrardless of the scheduled limit, so it comes down to whether you think a return to the fifteen round limit would be good, for whatever reason.

I personally think it would be great.

I never said biased under any circumstances when someone votes for 12 and not 15. It's biased when the whole thing hangs on someones opinion that they don't have confidence in their favourite fighter doing well over 15 rounds.

You said earlier. "I can't understand why it's "wrong" to prefer 12 rounds than 15.
    For whatever reason"

So just give any the reason even if it's biased?

    True.

Still, I DON'T HAVE A PROBLEM WITH SOMEONE PREFERING 12 ROUNDS, EVEN IF HE IS "BIASED", WANTING HIS FIGHTER TO DO WELL.

    Fair enough? :good
