Absolutely not, and saying the fighters won't fight for a couple of hundred grand is crazy compared to what some get paid, some put up better fights for peanuts.

If they don't bring the money in that should just be tough luck for them.

There shouldn't be an option where Uncle Eddie throws half his stable at a boxing card to artificially turn it into a 'PPV event' which sees the main event fighters get paid far more than their worth.

Have you been a Kell Brook fan for 5 years? You've got to buy the Whyte Parker PPV.
Are you following Katie Taylor's career since the Olympics? You've got to buy the Whyte Parker PPV.
Interested in seeing Nigel Benn's son? Cough up your PPV money my friend (and try not to get your hopes up :) )

It's manipulative and frustrating when you look at how many decent fight nights could be made with some of these boxers.

Dillian Whyte on PPV is just about where boxing is heading. Southwards. lol.
There is absolutely no justification to have that street brawler on PPV unless he is on somebody elses's undercard. Heading a card? F me where is the world coming to!

So do fans not want the fight to happen? Or is it fans want the fighters to accept less money so it's not ppv.

Let's be real. That was never gonna happen.

What determines if they are getting paid more than they are worth?

If tickets sell and the ppv's sell then the fighters will deservedly earn from that.

I have no problem with the fighters being well paid. Neither needed this fight and both need the win. The fighters will weigh up the risk and reward and they certainly won't take take a risk for a couple hundred grand.

Looks like Whyte v Parker is a fight the people want to see.

Dillian Whyte becoming quite the draw.

More an Ant's foreskin than an Elephant's foreskin on the draw stakes

Sky launched pay TV and keep putting prices up..then asks for more when something decent is on...they've lost premiership rugby, champions league, loads of cricket...sky is padded out with repeats and minority events , so when a decent fight comes up , why is it extra ? I'm paying God knows what each month already.
Mrs Garners biggest gripe is the Sky bill !
