Good post. The response of "Get a few mates round and it's just a few quid each!" completely ignores the issue most of us are raising. It's about value of product, not direct cost. The more weaker PPV's are accepted, the weaker they'll continue to become. If Conor Benn if your currency then it's about to become inflated, baybayyy

It's a little better but in the same ballpark. The fact that Chisora's corpse is supposed to be the saving grace of the card says it all.

I dont begrudge fighters getting paid well,i hate seeing old skint boxers but if Whyte cannot fight for 400k which id consider a decent purse for this type of fight...If it was a case of a 50k purse id say fair enough...

What has Whyte done to become PPV ?..KO Brown? stink the place out v Helenius?scrape past Chisora?...The more i think about it the more of a p155 take this seems....get a belt, become a champ and the money /PPV will follow...

this whole Bellew/Hearn mates thing has completely opened the PPV doors for anything

That farce on the back of Eubank v Quinlan and Parker v Hughie 'Le Skirt' Fury on PPV as well.

Any fight above cannon fodder level a possibility for PPV now and I think Eh Day would even think about Katie Taylor v Wham Bam Chan being a headline fight on PPV.

But, but but..."it's only 20 quid, get the boys and curries in and make a night of it" People are not acknowledging the Product is getting worse while the price is getting higher

Tossers like Bellew and Haye absolutely cleaning up on the back of PPV mugs being fleeced and now Dull Whyte getting a piece of the PPV pie.

Eh Day is simply a banker

The Wilder v Doshua fight will be at least £29.99 - would not be surprised if the PPV price is sneaked up to £24.99 soon starting with AJ v Povetkin

I don't buy it won't happen without the money argument, neither of these are going to get a pay day than this fight PPV or no PPV, it annoys me more, both are plodders.

Dull Boy Pakora is a multi millionaire who has stunk out every fight except the Whyte fight yet a Scottish guy dies in the ring a couple of years ago fighting for a purse no better than £3k.

Sums up everything that is wrong about boxing.

It's ignorance comparing the US and the UK. 65M v 365M. Economics my friend. It's a Classic Eddie Hearn move. US only have one Serious PPV this year and that will be Golvokin v Canelo 2. A more accurate comparison would be Showtime and HBO Non-PPV Cards and compare it to Sky's Saturday Night Cards. It shi*ts all over ours

Looking at Eh Day's response, I suspect he is posting under a couple of names on here

nah, his fans are just genuinely brainwashed. i was on twitter in a matchroom tweets comments saying how it isnt a good PPV card, the Matchroom FC Ultras came out with "cant pay both fighters without PPV/it is ridiculously stacked (in fact, one person said "kell brook is on it, the card is stacked"), literally, the only things they had to say, had already come out of Hearns mouth.
