Wilder keeps going down in weight, last bout he was 214lbs, he can easily make Cruiserweight. Usyk would wreck him

He's a top 2 HW and titlist on the cusp of fighting a
unification, why on Earth would he move to a less
    glamorous division

Yeah, he should totally drop his belt in the most prestigious division where he has several high profile possibilities to move to CW, a division where no one really gives a damn and to make less money.

Yes, let us move from the most glamorous division in boxing to a second tier division where no money is to be had. Drop his belt, drop damn near everything else.

Let's also give up many millions of dollars against fighters like Joshua, Povetkin, Parker.

I thought his drop in weight was due to recovering from the flu or something?

Nah, 214 is a good weight for Wilder. He competed in the Olympics in 2008 as a heavyweight (max 201 lbs).

He must have thought about that years ago when he turned pro, he must have tried and it obviously didn't feel good or he couldn't make the weight.

It'd be interesting to see a cruiserweight of his size and power for sure.

It would be fun seeing him fight at CW but I think he wouldn't be able to go any lighter than 214.

He was pretty ripped at that weight.

This. The cruiserweight division is a joke compared to the heavyweight division. Any cruiserweight that was any good campaigned at the heavyweight division. Holyfield would be a footnote if he stayed at cruiserweight.

Trust me if he could go to CW he would. Anywhere that Whyte and Joshua aren't gonna be.

Usyk would out box Wilder, but Haymon will protect Wilder. Wilder will not fight Joshua, he will fight Breazeale next................
