Yeah and in Russia. I quite enjoy seeing guys go to opponents home turf and brutally KO them.

I would love him to destroy the fat little midget, doesn't matter what or the amount of peds, too many levels below to make any difference. Unless they're talking special peds that instantly add enormous amounts of talent and damn near a foot of height

    Yes.

I predict that if there is any media pressure to punish Povektin then the WBC will take the title off the line in the days right before the fight.

So that Povetkin can't win the title even if he wins? Which would leave it vacant, or leave it with Wilder with this as a non-title bout?

I don't know, if VADA says the trace is too small then he should, if not then that's up to Wilder, I wouldn't blame him if he stepped down.

Personally I'd like to see it still and I think Wilder wins anyway.

I cannot vote on this poll it is biased as hell. My answer is yes, he should because Povetkin won't get suspended by WBC due to the low amount of meldonium.

Even if Povetkin is using PEDs he can just apply for a TUE next month and get away with it like nothing ever happened. What's the big deal

Don't know. I just don't think the WBC would want somebody with a recently smeared name holding the belt.

How can anyone want a fight to go on when a guy has a banned substance still in his system when he can take that same drug, mask it again...and still gets it's effects?

    Hell no.

And I'm not asking you this question personally Rums.

I would like the fight to go on ...

Because I've been saying for months that Povetkin never intended to fight Wilder (he thought Wilder would vacate) and once it became inevitable that he'd have to face Wilder, that Povetkin would try to get out of the fight. (Because he'd done it twice before against Wlad in 2008 and 2010.)

And now that Povetkin has, for the third time, sabotaged a title fight ... after all his delays, after failing to come to an agreement and after going through the whole purse bid process ... and wasting everyone's time ... and PROVING ME RIGHT by being the one to force the fight's cancellation ...

I would love it if the WBC said to Povetkin YOU HAVE TO FIGHT WILDER. Personally, I think they'd put on a great fight.

But I think the WBC might call it off. It's not a precedent you want to set. If failing a drug test won't stop a fight, then what's the point of testing at all?

What? Are you scared Povetkin will KO Deontay? Ye of little faith, Wilder will bounce Sasha's head off the canvass repeatedly, with or without PED's.

I get it people are disappointed, hell I'm in the same boat, but fact of the matter is he tested positive for PED'S. It doesn't matter if it's a low amount or not, Wilder should not have to fight this man on PED'S.

Another Thing i want to touch on is back in the days there was no random drug tests leading up to to the fights which were why fighters would go on to fight with PED'S in their system, then get busted after. My goodness things have changed since the good old days.

With random testing of today which is in almost every big fight today, they test you during your training to see if you're using which is better imo. It makes sure everything is fair leading into the fight.

Povetkin messed up, and this further proves a lot of people's points that he used prior to this fight and for probably long periods of time, which is why 7-8 months later it's still in his system. Unfortunately for Povetkin he failed the random drug test.

Hopefully we get more info in the next few days.

  15. I'm torn between the last two options. No tolerance for cheaters, but I think Wilder would've lost anyway.

And let's be frank, a Wilder v Fury showdown in a unification will have an EPIC build and is a much bigger event worldwide than Fury v Povetkin, if Fury beats Klitschko in the rematch. Good for boxing all round if this fight doesn't happen.
