I couldn't care less about the Ring belt but clearly Vitali is the best out there right now so it seems a bit stupid to let Chagaev and Wlad fight for it. The Ring know that with the brothers looking unlikely to fight it's their last chance to make a heavyweight champion (and get a load of publicity) for a while.
