No he should have used his straight right and his Jab more. Wlad's game plan sucked for this fight. He kept throwing his left hook and missed everytime. I think they seen AJ get rocked by the left hook in the DW fight and thought is was a weakness. But AJ was ready for WLad's left hook. Think about it he floored AJ with a straight right hand and his first punch after the knockdown was a left hook. Wlad had a shitty game plan for as long as he has been fighting. Wlad seemed to be in decline once he lost Steward. Had Steward been in Wlad's corner that night I think he would have beat AJ. But do not worry AJ has a weak chin and lacks Stamina. Ortiz would murder AJ and that is why he will give up his belt instead of facing the hardest hitter in boxing Ortiz. Ortiz would murder Wilder as well.

 

You need to be very durable to pull off a ropeadope strategy. Wlad ain't durable.
